Woman sold her 16-year-old daughter in Argentina to buy a home.

The woman was arrested and later the man, who was in Corrientes with the 16-year-old girl at the time of the operation.

A woman in Argentina sold her 16-year-old daughter to a 57-year-old merchant, with the aim of buying a house to live in.

The case, which has impacted the city of Concordia, arose after a complaint from a friend of the mother, who revealed the agreement between the mother and the merchant.

In the midst of the investigations, the mother justified her daughter's absence to the police, claiming that she was out of town with an "acquaintance" and would not return. Although the police asked her to call the young woman, she contacted Walter C., the merchant, who was in Mercedes.

The investigation, which focused on a possible case of human trafficking, led police to question neighbors, who stated that the young woman was the girlfriend of Walter C.

However, he denied any relationship and only referred to her as an employee. His nervous behavior raised suspicions, and the police followed him, discovering that he had picked up the young woman and two other teenagers.

The Argentine prosecutor's office ordered a raid on Walter C.'s warehouse, resulting in his arrest and the rescue of three minors, who are now under the protection of the family courts.

The teenager's mother and her partner were also arrested for human trafficking.
