Tragic death of Colombian acrobat in Russia after falling from a tightrope.

The tragic event occurred in a Moscow circus, where Sixto Octavio Chavarro Cabrera, 44 years old and originally from Huila, lost his life while performing a risky bicycle routine six meters high.

The fatal accident, captured on video by one of those present, showed the moment when Chavarro lost his balance and fell to the ground on July 14.

Without safety measures, the acrobat completed a successful turn on the tightrope but unfortunately failed to return, fatally impacting his head against the ground. Despite the efforts of the Demidov circus staff, help arrived too late.

The Russian Investigative Committee has launched an investigation to clarify what happened in this circus tragedy. Sixto Chavarro, known for his skills on motorcycles and tightrope, left a legacy during his time in different circuses, including Mongolia and Monte Carlo.

His family now hopes to be able to repatriate his body to say goodbye to him in the land where he was born, remembering a brave artist who lost his life doing what he loved.
