According to the owner, the incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Monday, June 3, when he returned to his house, located in the El Jazmín neighborhood of Puente Aranda, Bogotá.
The owner reported that while he was keeping his car with the gate open, he was approached by the criminals. One of them hit him on the head demanding the keys to the vehicle. At that moment, Dante reacted, started barking and attacked the thieves until they fled. Dante's intrepid action was recorded in security camera videos that went viral on the networks.
The brave farmer, in a show of unwavering loyalty, stood between his owner and the aggressors, without a moment's hesitation. His barking sounded like a warning that evil would not be tolerated in his presence. The thieves, surprised by the dog's fierce determination, chose to abandon their criminal attempt and escape the scene.
