A young student with autism showed bravery by becoming a hero last Wednesday the 9th, by protecting his grandmother during an assault on a public street.
The older woman was attacked by two motorcyclists while she was looking for her grandson at school and they were returning home, in the 16 core of Cidade Nova 2, in the northern area of Manaus.
One of the criminals remained on the motorcycle, while the other, armed, brutally attacked her in an attempt to steal her mobile phone.
The teenager, despite his autistic condition, was not intimidated, confronted the thief, an altercation occurred and he was injured in the process.
