DiDi Food delivery workers take justice after scam
The delivery men set a trap for the false customer and beat him
In an incident recorded in Xalapa, Veracruz, delivery people from the DiDi Food platform decided to take action against an alleged scammer who had placed orders without the intention of paying. The tense episode was recorded on video and has been widely disseminated on social networks.
In the images, you can see how the delivery drivers take the man out of a store, with his face injured, while people around him shout asking for his expulsion. Subsequently, the workers subdue him on the street and begin to beat him more.
Despite pleas from witnesses, the delivery men continue the assault, using their helmets and keeping their backpacks on during the beating. At one point, the man tries to stand up, but is knocked down again by the delivery men.
The conflict arose because the individual had placed orders through the DiDi application, but upon receiving the food, he refused to make the payment. This generated outrage among the affected delivery drivers, who organized a trap to confront the scammer.
After the beating, the Xalapa Municipal Police intervened, arresting the man and transferring him to the segregated areas. It is expected that the delivery drivers will present the corresponding complaints to clarify the case.
