Pervert caught taking video up a woman's skirt

A North Carolina man was accused of taking an upskirt video of a customer at the famous Target retail store.

The man identified as Thomas Ryan Elliott, 21, was arrested at a store in Greenville on the morning of Monday, April 15, after being caught crouching near a woman wearing a skirt.

According to the police report, a shopper at the store began recording a man who she believed was following her around the store and captured him placing his phone on the floor under the skirt of a woman who was crouching in front of a shelf. .

The report states that the shopper continued recording him while she confronted him and alerted store security and police.

In the video captured, Elliott is seen on camera and continues to place his phone on the ground to film the client. The woman filming Elliott eventually posted the video on social media, which led to her arrest.

When police detained Elliot, he "denied any wrongdoing and showed us (police) recent photographs on his cell phone."

Authorities arrested the man, charged him and obtained a search warrant for his cell phone to try to find inappropriate photographs.

They are also looking for information that has been deleted and that can be recovered through forensic examination.

Elliott was released after posting $5,000 bail and had his first court appearance Tuesday, Greenville police said.

The man is a volunteer at Eastern Elementary School in Greenville, but a county schools spokesperson says they probably won't take him back.
