According to the police report, the woman went to the victim's residence in the area of Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue on the afternoon of September 6 to ask about an advertisement published on Auto Trader, a website for the sale of second-hand vehicles. .
A doorbell camera recorded the woman when she arrived at the house.
- "Hello. “I'm here to see the Porsche,” she is heard saying at the door.
- “I'm waiting for my father, so can I take a look at the vehicle?”
Once inside the 2022 Porsche Cayenne and with the owner on the side of the parking lot, the woman suddenly reversed the vehicle, hitting it and making it fall to the ground.
The suspect is wanted for car theft and injuries.
Authorities believe that the woman attended the appointment with an accomplice who was waiting for her in another vehicle, which was also captured on surveillance images.
The police urge citizens to be more alert when selling vehicles online and request information that could lead to the whereabouts of the vehicle and the woman.
