Colombian soccer player Rafael Pérez responded to the leak of an intimate photo with his wife, refusing to pay extortion.
The image went viral after the theft of his partner's cell phone, Angie Jiménez, which contained the material.
The woman's cell phone ended up in the hands of unscrupulous people who began asking her for money to keep the material confidential.
So they uploaded the intimate image of the Colombian soccer player to social networks, who came out to clarify the leak in which he appears with his wife.
As explained by the Junior de Barranquilla player, the photo went viral after he refused to pay extortion.
Together with his wife, Angie Jiménez, Pérez pointed out that the record dates back to 2017 and was taken six or seven years ago. He reported that since the theft of his partner's cell phone, they have received extortion attempts for the image, but they have decided not to give in to the threats.
With this statement, he seeks to put an end to the controversy, although the photo continues to circulate on social networks.
