Scandal at the Puebla Fair: Stalker caught recording under women's skirts
Upon being discovered, the individual tried to escape, but was recorded and followed to an exit from the premises where he was detained by the police.
A man identified as Miguel Escalera was discovered recording with a camera hidden under women's dresses and skirts at the Puebla Fair, Mexico.
According to a video released through social networks, an affected woman reported that the man tried to place his left foot between her legs while she was wearing a dress. Although she did not confront him directly at first, she decided to follow him to confirm her suspicions and document his behavior.
Upon following him, he witnessed the aggressor repeating his action with another young woman who was wearing a skirt. The victim warned the other girl about the man's behavior.
When discovered, the individual tried to escape, but was recorded and followed to an exit from the premises.
At the exit, the police stopped him and when they searched him they found a camera hidden in his left shoe, used to record under women's skirts. He was taken to a module of the civic court at the Puebla Fair.
Subsequently, the victim and the detainee were taken to the police offices to give their statement of the facts.
Miguel Escalera is a professor at the School of Plastic and Audiovisual Arts (ARPA). Students from this faculty created a virtual clothesline in 2021 to report a dozen cases of harassment.
