Criminals steal rearview mirrors in a matter of seconds

A passerby managed to capture the moment in which a subject dressed in jeans, red flannel and a cap, shows off his skill and dexterity to steal the rearview mirror of a vehicle parked in the middle of the street in Caracas.

In the video it is observed that while the subject walks down a street in the Chacao municipality, in Caracas, D.C., he pretends to talk on a cell phone, until he stops in front of a vehicle, checks the surroundings and in a matter of seconds, detaches the glass to then flee the scene.

There are countless stories of the victims of this crime, whose "modus operandi" consists of identifying those vehicles whose mirror can be removed without major difficulty and acting quickly; generally these criminals act alone.
