They find remains of a dismembered woman in a suitcase in a condominium in Lima.

The young woman's remains were hidden in a suitcase: a police officer who owns the apartment is the main suspect in the femicide.

The dismembered body of Sheyla Mayumi Cóndor Torres, 26, was located during the night of Saturday, November 16, inside a suitcase in tower E11 of the Torres de la Pradera condominium, in Comas, Peru.

The victim had been reported missing for a few days.

After the discovery, the police arrested six people at the scene, 5 men and 1 woman, who were tenants, but it is unknown whether or not they knew about the macabre murder.

According to information from local media, all of them were taken to the Santa Luzmila police station to determine their participation in the crime.

Now, the National Police of Peru (PNP), together with representatives of the Public Ministry, are investigating the events.

The young woman had been seen for the last time on Wednesday, November 13, when she entered the condominium accompanied by Darwin Condori Antezana, an active officer, who has a record of an alleged group rape, which occurred in January 2023, in the same department as mentioned. condominium.

The officer is considered the main suspect and is a fugitive from justice.

The condominium's security cameras captured the young woman when she entered the E11 tower with Condori, who would have taken advantage of the bond of trust to take her to the place.

Sheyla's remains were transferred to the Lima morgue. His family demands justice.
