A student was arrested in the state of Paraná in Brazil, after confessing to having dismembered a prostitute, fearing that she would report him for rape if he did not pay her the required amount.
Rosemar Vinck, 45, was murdered and dismembered in Medianeira on January 16. Stenio Biesdorf Martendal, 23, was arrested.
According to the police report, the young man claimed to have "lost his mind" during a fight over the price, when Rosemar threatened to report him. "When the police arrived, he was nervous, with marks on his body and blood stains. At the residence, they found the victim's body," police said.
The Civil Police reported that the criminal tried to decompose the woman's body using caustic soda, with the purpose of destroying it. The limbs were in a bucket with the chemical, while the head and torso were found in a black bag.
During the investigation, friends of Rosemar, who was a prostitute, said she went out with a man after agreeing on a time and price, but was never seen again. They reported him missing and named the last client as a suspect.
Police tracked the victim's cell phone to the Condá neighborhood in Medianeira, where they found the suspect with the device. He finally confessed to the crime.
