Criminals steal a briefcase with money and the victim runs them over to recover it.

After the assault, the thieves fled on the motorcycle with a briefcase of money, while the victim got into his truck and began a chase to recover it.

A widespread police mobilization occurred at noon on Monday, April 29, when an assault was carried out against a client who was leaving a bank in San Nicolás, Nuevo León state in northeastern Mexico.

According to a police report, two men on a motorcycle assaulted a man who was leaving a bank located in the Mercado de Abastos on San Nicolás and Los Ángeles avenues.

The alleged thieves fled on the motorcycle with a briefcase of money, the victim got into his truck and began a chase to catch up with the criminals and recover his money.

The chase was captured by a security camera that shows the moment when the driver of a pick-up truck blocks the path of the motorcycle, causing the thief to lose control and skid. One of the alleged criminals was run over by the truck.

Meanwhile, the driver of the van with an orange shirt appears on camera recovering the briefcase that the criminals had stolen from him with the money inside and then leaving the scene.

The body of one of the thieves was left lying on Los Angeles Avenue and 5th Avenue, while his accomplice tried to flee, but was later detained by the police.

The authorities are investigating to determine the responsibility of each of those involved in this violent event, which began as an assault and ended in a road accident, with one deceased.
